What we collect when you use Kullaberg.com, why, and what you can do about it.

You can read the whole guide without an account. We only store personal data if you sign in to write reviews.

When you sign in

Sign-in uses your Google account. From Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture, and we store them to create your account. Your email address is never shown publicly.

Reviews

Reviews are public and shown with your name and profile picture. You can edit or delete your own reviews at any time from the page you reviewed; the "My reviews" page lists them all. Reviews may be machine-translated so visitors can read them in their own language.

Cookies and analytics

  • Session cookie — set only when you sign in, so the site remembers you. It is required for reviews to work.
  • Language — a cookie remembers the language you chose.
  • Google Analytics — we measure visits (pages viewed, rough location, device type) to understand which content is useful. Google sets its own cookies for this.

How long we keep data

Account data is kept while your account exists. Deleting a review removes it from the site straight away.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, or have your account and reviews deleted. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
