Lerberget is an old fishing village that has grown into the southern part of Höganäs and now has about 2,700 residents. Road 111 runs through it: west of the road lie the harbor and the older houses of Gamla Lerberget, while villas from the 1970s onward spread out on both sides.

The harbor, home to the local sailing club, has around a hundred berths, and a row of red boathouses lines the waterfront. By the shore there is a sandy beach with a bathing pier, and the Lerberget woods (Lerbergsskogen) offer shady walks.
Staying here
Lerberget is a quiet residential base rather than a destination, but its location is practical. The express bus reaches Helsingborg in about half an hour, central Höganäs is close by, and the Höganäs sports center next door has swimming pools and a golf course for rainy or restless days.
