Jonstorp is a larger village on the shore of Skälderviken, the bay on the peninsula's north side, surrounded by fields and woods. With a grocery store, library and school, it feels like a real village all year.

The village has its own harbor and a sandy beach, and at Revet a bathing pier leads out into very shallow water, with a barbecue area nearby. The sheltered bay is popular with windsurfers and kitesurfers. East of the village, the Jonstorp–Vegeå estuary nature reserve protects shallow shores and meadows where rare birds such as avocets and little terns nest, and large numbers of waterbirds rest in spring and autumn.
Along the north coast
A shoreline walk leads north to the tiny harbor of Rekekroken, and the Kullaleden trail continues past the flooded quarry at Svanshall toward Skäret, where the summer café Flickorna Lundgren was a favorite of King Gustaf VI Adolf.
