The Kulla Peninsula is compact enough to cross in a day, but it is not flat: open farmland in the south rises to the steep slopes of Kullaberg in the north-west.

Sweden's first national cycle route, 390 km from Helsingborg to Gothenburg, crosses the area in two stages. Helsingborg–Höganäs (22 km) follows the Öresund past Sofiero, Domsten and Viken. Höganäs–Ängelholm (39 km) passes Strandbaden, Nyhamnsläge, Lerhamn near Krapperup, Arild, Skäret and Jonstorp. Both are almost entirely paved.
Mölle and Kullaberg
Mölle is a detour off the route. The bed of the old Mölle railway, closed in 1963, is now a walking and cycling path between Höganäs and Mölle. Beyond the village, the road out to the lighthouse is hilly.
