Lerberget, an old fishing village that has grown into the southern part of Höganäs, probably takes its name from a clay hill by the harbor. It has two low-key places to swim along its Öresund shore, both easy to reach.

By the harbor

Right next to the small harbor and its row of red boathouses, a bathing jetty runs out from a sandy beach. There is an accessible toilet, a shower and a playground, with a football pitch and a boules court nearby, and the water quality is rated excellent.

By the campsite

About 700 meters north, Lerbergets Camping lies behind a sandy beach, with a kiosk, a restaurant and a barbecue area close by. The village association clears the seaweed and the campsite keeps the beach clean.

Between swims

The Lerbergsskogen woods, just inland, have a jogging trail with a simple outdoor gym built from natural materials. Dogs are not allowed on the trail.

Seaside campsite 2 km south of Höganäs town center with 155 caravan and motorhome pitches, some by the beach and some among the trees, plus tent pitches and four simple cabins. Open late March to late September.

Nine-hole course in Lerberget, south of Höganäs, played year-round with winter greens in the off-season. No tee-time booking: visitors use the ball chute and pay the greens fee in the clubhouse (about SEK 300–350 for nine holes in season). An official handicap is required.
