Nyhamnsläge's beach lies on the peninsula's west coast, a few hundred meters south of the village harbor. It is a sandy village beach with a long bathing jetty, and because it faces west, summer evenings end with the sun going down over the Öresund.

In 1948 villagers bought the shore to stop it being built on, and the village association still looks after it. Every spring the association puts the jetty, first opened in 2003, back in place and looks after the raft. In summer a young beach warden keeps things tidy and posts the day's water temperature. The water quality is rated excellent.
South along the shore
The coast south of the village is the Nyhamnsläge–Strandbaden nature reserve, an open coastal heath above sandy shores. At Kullens havsbad a moraine ridge juts into the sea; birds nest on it, so it is off-limits from April 1 to July 15. A concrete fort just south of the ridge makes a good bird-watching spot.
