Brunnby Church stands in the small church village of Brunnby, inland between Mölle and Arild, and serves as the parish church for both. Its gray stone walls date from the 1100s or early 1200s, and the parish takes its name from a spring about 200 meters south of the church.

The vault paintings

During the 1400s the church gained its tower, north transept and vaults, largely paid for by the Krognos family of Krapperup. The vaults were painted with saints and, because the church is dedicated to the apostle Andrew, a series of pictures of him. They are attributed to the so-called Helsingborg Master, who also painted in St. Mary's Church in Helsingborg. Long covered over, the paintings were uncovered again in 1911–12 and cleaned in the 1990s.
