KullaRulla is Höganäs municipality's 30 km path for wheelchairs, strollers and anyone who wants an easy walk, with the sea, open fields and small villages along the way. Most of it follows two old railway beds: the Mölle line along the coast, and the Höganäs–Kattarp line inland through farmland. It is mostly level, on hard-packed gravel, asphalt or grass, with many benches, and Skåneleden calls it its only fully accessible trail. Buses and trains link the stages, so you can walk one at a time and ride back.

Höganäs municipality divides KullaRulla into four stages. Stage 1, about 8 km, leaves Mölle's old station and heads south, mostly on the old railway bed, past Vattenmöllan, Lerhamn and Nyhamnsläge to Strandbaden. Stage 2, about 6.5 km, keeps to the coast into Höganäs and on to Lerberget.
The inland half branches off in Höganäs. Stage 3, about 9.5 km, crosses the town and heads east through open farmland past Ingelsträde to Mjöhult. Stage 4, about 7 km, ends at Kattarp's railway station after a short stretch of asphalt road. Mölle to Kattarp is one continuous route of about 28 km; the last 3 km or so of the coastal half, to Lerberget, is a spur.
Skåneleden counts Mölle–Höganäs as its stage 4A (10.5 km, 2–3 hours). Kullaleden runs roughly parallel along the coast and shares the path in places, and in Höganäs KullaRulla runs with the Hälsans stig loop for a few kilometers.
Along the way
From 1910 to 1963 the railway brought tourists to Mölle, and local lore has some of them arriving on direct trains from Berlin. Heading south, you pass horse paddocks, Highland cattle and the old railway keeper's cottage, and in late spring you may hear fire-bellied toads near Vattenmöllan and Lerhamn. At the turn-off for Krapperup Castle, a gravel path climbs through the park to the castle, with its art hall and café, about 0.6 km off the route. The old fishing village of Lerhamn is worth a look, though the path shows little of it. Krapperup's station house from 1910 has a mirror-image twin at Strandbaden. In Höganäs the spur passes Kvickbadet, the town beach, and ends by Lerberget's small harbor.
The inland half follows the Höganäs–Kattarp railway, opened in 1885, passing close to KKAM, the town's museum of ceramics, art and local history, and later the old station at Ingelsträde.
Good to know
- Steep detoursthe path is mostly level, but the side trips down to Mölle harbor and to Lerhamn are steep, with a long climb back. Both have an accessible toilet, and the harbor has water
- Shared pathit doubles as a cycle path, so watch for bikes
- Shore reserveson the coast the path passes small nature reserves, where dogs must be on a leash and camping and fires are not allowed; the point at Strandbaden is closed 1 April–15 July while birds nest
- Getting backbus 222 runs along the coast road between Mölle and Höganäs, stopping in Nyhamnsläge and Strandbaden, and Kattarp station has regional trains. Check Skånetrafiken's journey planner
- Route statusHöganäs municipality refers walkers to Skåneleden's online map; check it before you set out
